Birrong Bowling & Sports Club is home
of the "Birrong Wombats" and fields six sides in the BCIB State Pennant
competition, two sides in the Lansdowne District Women's Pennants and has been a member of the Premier League competition since its inception in 1999.
The club has three excellent bowling greens
that are maintained to the highest standards by our team of professional
greenkeepers. Recently constructed
outside viewing areas along both sides of the club are proving to be extremely
popular by all who wish to relax in comfort and watch a great game of lawn
bowls. Both men and women have well
equipped locker rooms.
New members are encouraged to participate
in the game of bowls and the club offers free coaching programs for all levels.
